FAQs

What is coaching and mentoring?

Coaching and mentoring helps individuals achieve personal or professional growth, development, and success.

Coaching is a process that involves a coach working with a client to help them identify and achieve their goals. The coach helps the client to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and provides guidance and support to help the client overcome obstacles and reach their desired outcomes. Coaching can be focused on a wide range of areas, such as personal or career development.

Mentoring, on the other hand, is a relationship in which a more experienced and knowledgeable mentor provides guidance, advice, and support to a less experienced mentee. Mentoring typically is focused on helping the mentee develop specific skills or knowledge, or to navigate a particular industry or profession.

While there are some differences between coaching and mentoring, they share the common goal of helping individuals achieve their full potential and reach their goals. Both coaching and mentoring can be valuable tools for personal and professional growth, and can provide individuals with the support and guidance they need to succeed.

How long does a coaching or mentoring programme typically last?

Every client has different goals or issues they are looking to address and so the need is different for every individual. However, at The Coaching Studio we recommend a package of 6 x one hour sessions to provide the opportunity to develop and show results.

How frequent are the sessions?

This is determined by the availability of both coach/mentor and client, however we recommend scheduling sessions once every fortnight. This provides the time for clients to reflect and make changes in their life.
